My husband and I moved to a condo two years ago, after living in a rather large townhouse. Our primary goal was to be closer to my work. He was tired of my whining about the commute. We also did it to downsize and to have less to clean.
Once we moved I had more time on my hands, so I took a certification course on nutrition. I got my certificate, which means absolutely nothing, unless you’re impressed I made it through a whole course. However, I did learn a lot and enjoy nutrition-related things.
Last but not least, when I was young, I always liked packing my lunch. I have no idea why, but something about the little case and containers that fit into it appeals to me. My mother still remarks on it; I loved going on picnics and packing my little barn lunchbox with the silo thermos. I think that was the start of my tendency to re-use things. To this day I have to restrain myself from buying nifty new lunchboxes.
